About Me

I’m Louise, an Integrative counsellor, yogi, world explorer and nature lover.

I used to be a wild one, I loved to party, I spent a fair percentage of my adult life hoping around the world living out of a backpack. Living and working abroad has given me a rich experience of different cultures and of life itself. I am a lot more sensible and low key these days. I have switched wine for coffee and late nights for early mornings. I live in Leigh on sea in Essex with my beautiful funny and very intelligent dog, a standard schnauzer called Frida. Beach walks and early nights are how we roll these days. I love spending time in nature it always brings me a sense of grounded connection and inner peace.

After facing my own journey through addiction and burnout, I retrained in counselling, a path that redefined my life. Helping others in their healing now feels like my purpose.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Reflective Therapeutic Practice, Level 4 diploma in Integrative counselling and a Level 5 CBT Practitioner Diploma, I am an accredited member of the NCPS governing body. I am based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, where I see clients in person, or virtually via an online platform.

My approach allows me to blend humanistic and psychodynamic modalities along with holistic practices to create deeply individualised therapeutic experiences. Drawing from a wide spectrum of methods to support emotional and spiritual wellbeing. My work is guided by intuition, compassion, and a holistic understanding that mind, body, and spirit are inseparable. Healing, I believe, begins with genuine connection, the courage to be seen, heard, and understood.

I have practiced yoga for 27 years, in 2019 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in India. An experience that continues to inspire the therapeutic workshops and retreats I lead today, immersive spaces that combine yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing. I have always cultivated spiritual practice even when I was a little wayward, but for the last 7 years I have explored many spiritual traditions and developed a deep spiritual practice. I draw upon ancient meditation techniques and chanting mantra, practicing daily spiritual rituals that I have mastered through my exploration of the mystical and transcendental. Today I embody all that I have learned.

Sharing these gifts with others is a blessing.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 30 years as a hairdresser and makeup artist, teaching for L'Oreal, working in cutting edge salons, fashion and bridal styling. I have spent my whole career listening to people, this set my foundation.

" The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are"
